New California Labeling Laws Effective January 3, 2021
A new California labeling law applies to everyone who sells CBD in California. You need to make sure you prepare for the new labeling requirement that takes effect next January 3, 2021.
California Prop 65 strikes again. Prop 65 is now set to apply more broadly to cannabis and cannabidiol (“CBD”) products.
Beginning January 3, 2021, companies who manufacture, distribute, or sell at retail delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (“THC”) products in California – including CBD products made with industrial hemp – will be required to warn consumers that exposure to THC is known to the state of California to cause reproductive harm.

Make sure you discuss this with your attorney and your manufacturer to make sure any purchases or shipments in or to CA after 1/3/21 have the new labeling.
It is unfortunate, but there will be law firms out their targeting companies for quick settlements for violating this new regulation. You do not want to be one of them.
